Streetwear with beat label Seventyseven is doing it again …

July 4th, 2008

Having hooked up with record label and DJ agency Milk ‘n’ 2 Sugars in March for this year’s WMC (Winter Music Conference) in Miami Florida, Seventyseven will be continuing the collaboration by creating an ‘Ibiza 08’ tee for the record label.

Seventyseven

The tee will represent British streetwear at its best while capturing the mantra of the summer. The tee is colourful and show heavy music associations enabling MN2S to offer a product with street influence as opposed to branded ‘merchandise’.

MN2S will host their weekly event at the refined El Divino club which boasts views of Ibiza’s port and old town. The events will run for 13 weeks throughout the summer, including pre-sunset parties at the famous Café Savannah. The Woofer tee can be found at both of these events plus various retail points throughout the island.

Seventyseven

MN2S, a UK based label dedicates itself to all things in House music and DJs. It holds dance events not just in the UK but all over Europe, bringing in masses of crowds. And as an agency, they list a whole host of DJ’s and artists on their books.

Seventyseven, born in 2002 dedicates itself to all things street. It focuses on independence and creativity. Stockists are available online and via chain and independent stores.

Seventyseven also recently launched a new denim range know as DNM Division where the designs are fresh and original, but simple. There are just two designs for the season, one a dark denim with a straight leg, the other washed denim with a looser fit. The label will also bring in a new accessories range for the autumn followed with new knitwear, shirts, wax parka jackets plus customised hoods and retro tees all which are bright and eye catching.

The collection also holds a ‘Born and Bred’ line which focuses many of its products on UK production – something that is quite a treasure in today’s fashion industry.

Already boasting an array of music fans Seventyseven’s music influence is clear in the collection….. Ghetto Blaster, Headphones, Bass Beats, Cassette and Ape Phones designs. In addition the MN2S prints are easily recognisable as Seventyseven.

Seventyseven

Continuing the love of music the label links up twice a year with the Southport Dance Weekender and designs are worn by worldwide DJs who clearly love the label. Seventyseven’s range of tees, jackets and knitwear are some of the best in streetwear, taking influences from pretty much anything from the street including skating, art, comics, film, graffiti and graphic design.

But most evident power continues to be the music.
