TONA, 71 t-shirts

December 23rd, 2008

TONA

Together with Streetartist TONA from Hamburg, KOTTON from Berlin printed 71 unique and numbered design-tees on American Apparel-Shirts.

TONA

It is a mixture of both, high quality silkscreen print with waterbased colors and a special print method for stencils with waterbased colors.

TONA

Their aim was to create an unique garden on each shirt; they used four screens with several flowers, branches, grasses and animals as well as several handmade stencils – and they performed a big battle with these objects on each shirt.

TONA

During three days of printing in a huge silkscreen print shop in Berlin, each Shirt now is printed several times all over. You find natural gradients of colors as well as nice overlays of stencil and silkscreen.
