Lets Be Awesome

Kent, Lets Be Awesome :

“I have been designing T-shirts and other garments for Children for 5 years at fooeyusa.com. We have wanted to do an adult line for many years and finally decided the time was right so we launched Lets Be Awesome this year. I tend to design shirts that are bold and simple. I don’t try to reinvent the wheel, I just like the kind of T-shirt you can ware for 20 years.

The Radio Robot was a design I originally thought of for our kids line. I often try to design something that works for kids and adults which can be a big challenge. I don’t want to talk down to either age group, both deserve great design.

The boombox is such a classic image that works great on a shirt but I wanted to do something different with it. I drew all of the various radios which took several hours and then started to assemble them into my robot. I’m really happy with the way it turned out.”
