Let’s face it : Either you are politically committed, an old sandboxes black panther, the Che Gevara of the Carpathian Mountains…
Or you have a hobby which you will never dare to admit to your mother .. and I would personally never shake your hands.

In 1994, 3 major historical facts: Roberto Baggio gives away the football world cup to Brasil by miserably missing his penalty kick, Canada is the curling world champion and…… Ayrton Senat crashes into a wall on the Imola circuit.

Sehubabe,

August 17th, 2007

Sehubabe is one of those words with a Scandinavian spelling, a Scottish pronunciation, yet for sure a Belgian significance.

Sehubabe

Founded by 4 old friends, the main inspiration of Sehubabe is really to federate a maximum of people around a community essentially concerned about conscientious consumption.

Sehubabe

The expression mode is quite simple and symbolic: the T-shirt.

Sehubabe

The screen-printed visuals represent the politically censored, the artistically attractive, the musically synchronous, the intuitively disturbing … everything being based on sustainable development principles. As a matter of fact, Sehubabe’s T-shirts (brand: American Apparel) are guarantee “Fair trade” and the manufacturing/printing/delivery processes are ecologically examined.

Sehubabe

To make a long story short, with a soberly unconventional website design and with charismatically unmatched T-shirts, Sehubabe surely differentiates itself from what can be found on the web.

Sehubabe

Very shortly the website will migrate to a more “active consumer” type of system, opening itself to free participation of anyone. In other words: coming soon a blog and a sharing space for the creation of T-shirts anytime more disconcerting …

Kiser,

August 14th, 2007

Kiser is a clothing brand whose shirts, jackets and hoodies were born in the streets and since, have gone far beyond their beginnings. Kiser Haydar Barnes began selling his unique graffiti-inspired apparel while dodging police officers on the streets of downtown New York City. His line has since evolved into a distinct graphic-design/fashion art form that emphasizes the concept of “Hunt Beauty.”

Kiser

Kiser’s pursuit of truth and originality has lead him to create a series of one-of-a-kind, politically-charged designs. His pursuit can best be described by his image of a flower alongside AK-47 guns. The guns reflect the destructive potential in us that is tamed by the creative spirit represented by the flower. In effect, a peaceful revolution. His style focuses primarily on the search for this type of beauty in the ever-changing Graphic Life in which we live.

Kiser

Born in Nigeria, raised in Israel and educated at The Rochester Institute of Technology, Kiser’s art has blossomed into its own visual language. Kiser’s “Hunt Beauty” images are inspired by Hip-Hop, Middle-Eastern and African cultures which he blends together to form a symphony of universally relevant designs.

Kiser

His fashion is INTENSE COMPLEX AND DEEPLY INTELLECTUAL . sometimes IT IS political, sometimes IT IS playful BUT IT IS always about balance. Kiser’s eclectic style has lead him to collaborate on projects with the likes of Chloe, DJ A-Trak, HBO, The Brooklyn Circus and Timberland among others.

Kiser

His current apparel line is featured in over 30 stores internationally and online. His shirts, and their designs, have been acclaimed by publications such as URB, Guys, Nylon, Source, GQ, Cargo, and Complex magazines …

Who are Turtlehead ?

August 14th, 2007

Keith, Turtlehead:

Turtlehead are a collective based in Ireland with one eye on the establishment, another on the subversive and another on stuff we like.

turtlehead

Yes, we have three eyes! We make quirky t-shirts that we are proud of that we love to see people wearing. We started up in 2006 with 6 t-shirts designed by Keith Walsh and a year later we have 7 artists and 15 designs.

turtlehead

We officially launched at Ireland’s coolest music festival - Electric Picnic, where we will be celebrating our first birthday this September.

turtlehead

From last month we are launching one t-shirt a month every month which are designed by artists from all over the world. Each t-shirt is designed exclusively for turtlehead. We started with Scottish artist David Shrigley in July, and this month we are launching Irish artist Chris Judge.

We want to thank everyone for their support throughout our 4 years in the biz. We both feel that Future Relic still has potential, but at this point in time, we have decided to go our separate ways.

soho tuna

They’ve been a long time coming since there conception in our Notting Hill Local back in 06, But we’re really proud of them.

soho tuna

Our debut collection is inspired by our experiences of London’s vibrancy: its nightlife, renowned landmarks and street carnivals. We’ve combine iconic images of London with references to its more sinister, criminal elements.

soho tuna

So your probably thinking … ‘SOHO TUNA‘… what the..?!?! we’ll we wanted a name that was funky / Outlandish, that suggested seedy undertones, Basically something that didn’t make sense due to it sheer randomness.

Get over to SOHO TUNA to check out all our cracking summer tees.
