Team Manwhore,

January 18th, 2007

“The friends that run Team Manwhore met by a coincidence through their common interest in travelling and snowboarding.

The concept Team Manwhore was born in the winter 2001 in a bar in Colorado, USA. It all started as a funny joke, a joke about how we would earn our living and pay our rent just so we could snowboard as much as possible. This initial joke has developed and today, Team Manwhore goes under the concept “Uniforms for the dedicated”.

The company Team Manwhore AB was founded 2005. In the autumn that same year the first collection was launched. Team Manwhore aims to work exclusively with handpicked retailers who can relate to the companies concept and image”.

The future ambition is to keep the brand’s local spirit but with global presence.

And Cetera Press,

January 12th, 2007

“You’ve all heard of wearing your heart on your sleeve, and really our Page Shirts have nothing to do with this cliché, but they do give you the chance to wear a page of one of your favorite pieces of classic literature not on your sleeve, but on your shirt front, which we figure is just as good, if not better - and, in case we’re wrong, we’re including an And Cetera reprinting of the book your particular page is from.”

Reppeteaux,

December 22nd, 2006

Ms. Reppeteaux’s design “Up In Arms” features a whimsical, but subtle illustration of one of her infamous girls whose arms go through a “beauty and the beast transformation” as they pass through the belly pocket.

The beastly green arms are printed in glow in the dark ink and the “helicopter” leaves travel up the hood and around to a pile on the back. The design is printed on American Apparel’s asphalt Classic Girl zip hoodies : check it out

Headlines & Heroes,

December 19th, 2006

Headlines & Heroes is more than just apparel. It is fashion created for those who aspire to be more, who aspire to stand for something and to be noticed. Each design and logo transcends generations by bringing symbols and quotes of legends, gangsters, luminaries, martyrs, anyone who ever left something timeless for the future to envy.

From the first sunrise, to the dawn of eternity, men have worn symbols emblazed on their chests, shields, flags, even their hearts, all standing for what they believed in and defining who they were. Although the times, culture, and even circumstances have evolved, symbols have remained etched as placeholders in our history remembering who we once were and showing us where we are headed..

Born from these men and their very drive to be remembered as legends, comes Headlines & Heroes. More than just apparel, Headlines & Heroes was created for those who aspire to be more, who aspire to stand for something and to be noticed.

These are the heroes that in their time made headlines, and who have transcended their symbols and influence on the world into what we know now as Headlines & Heroes.
