Their own shirt designs are now presented on model pics which give the customer a more realistic idea of their designs. The new shop section serves all those who are interested in simple T-shirt shopping without much fussing at the shirt designer tool.

The classifications in categories easily helps you find your preferred designs. On the other hand, those who want to have a hand on every detail of their shirts have more options at their disposal: designs and texts can be combined and the colours of the design can be changed.

T-shirt label Wornby have dipped into their vaults to re-release a vintage replica of classic t-shirt ‘Manila Gorilla’ in support of the latest Red Nose Day campaign for Comic Relief 2009.

The ‘Manila Gorilla’ t-shirt made famous by legendary boxer Muhammad Ali was worn by the athlete himself in the run up to his fight with Joe Frazier on October 1st, 1975 at Areneta Stadium, Manila.

Though defeated by his nemesis five years previously, Ali was back determined to win the World Heavy weight title and show the boxing world who was boss! Providing fantastic theatrical value that Ali was famous for he was again victorious over his rival and aptly named this heated fight ‘The Thriller in Manila’ and mockingly referred to Frazier as the ‘Gorilla’.

For every piece of Wornby’s sporting history sold between March 9th – March 30th Wornby will donate £5 to Comic Relief.

The monies raised will be used by the charity to provide aid and support throughout Africa and the UK benefiting a number of causes including malaria, education and maternal and mental health.

“Started in summer 2008 and releasing the first proper collection Spring/Summer 2009, Cut-Out is an independent DIY print studio, designing, making and selling clothing and jewellery amongst other things from my West Midland’s home.

Cut-Out products can be purchased from Cut Uut Shop and are currently stocked at the Here Shop and Gallery; Bristol, Here and Now; Falmouth and Kate&Tristan; London.

Cut-Out has also been picked up by French fashion blog Madmoizelle, recently featuring on it’s must-have buys pages for two consecutive weeks.

I also cater for commissions, printing merchandise for many bands around the UK as well as further a field, quickly gaining a well-respected reputation for both DIY ethics and well-printed products.

At the moment I am collaborating with Created in Birmingham with a charity fundraiser and in the future would like to collaborate more with artists and designers- having already used designs by illustrator Marcroy Smith and printmaker Gwilym Neeld.

Already I aim for Cut-Out’s Autumn/Winter 09 collection to feature designs by illustrators Lee Nutland and Aaron Miller”.

Founded in Los Angeles in the hot summer of 2005, when two friends, Chad and MR44, decided to start their own clothing brand.

They both wanted to build a brand that was known for originality and intricate hand-drawn designs. Hard work and the drive to create good clothing has guided them from the start, from deciding to utilize only original hand drawn artwork, to building an image, fostering their own dedicated following, building an international customer base, freelancing for and collaborating with other brands, and delving into garment production (ie “cut & sew”).

Foreign Family are proud of recent achievements such as being invited to bread + butter in barcelona, launching a worldwide art tour, and the opening of their official headquarters - a design studio in k-town, los angeles, which also housed Foreign Family’s 554 pop-up art gallery last year, exhibiting a wide range of artists and some very successful exhibitions, not to mention The Hundreds’ 5 Year Anniversary event.

The Fam are also excited about expanding our cut & sew collections thanks to the masterful design and production skills of Johnny Punishment, who brings valuable professional garment design/production experience to the table.
