From the 14th May Budweiser is preparing itself for a stampede as the beer puts a genuine Mustang up for grabs on it’s website that could be won for the price of a beer !

Budweiser is making an authentic, US Ford Mustang available for auction on it’s virtual currency website. The yellow and black all American classic is being auctioned off to the lowest unique bidder with Bud fans set to flood the site with entries.

Budweiser will deliver the vintage car to the winner and throw in a day with classic car experts Dream Cars to learn how to keep their new car in top shape.

How it works :

Promotional codes on the back of bottles and cans of Budweiser unlock a unique currency (from $5 - $100) when entered into Bud Bucks Website. Two Dollar Radio, an independent book publishing company based out of Brooklyn, New York, is sponsoring a contest for a t-shirt design that promotes literacy awareness.

The winning design, voted on by visitors to Two Dollar Radio, will be printed to coincide with Two Dollar Radio’s annual literacy benefit concert, GET LIT, to be held in New York City in September 2007.

Deadline for submissions is May 1, at which point the top four entries will be determined by a panel of judges that includes Paul Kim of Future Relic. Visitors to Two Dollar Radio will then vote on the top four entries to determine their favorite design until July 3, with the winner announced July 4.

The winning t-shirt design will receive $100 cash, 2 tickets to GET LIT 2007, 2 shirts, and their design featured on a limited edition printing of fund-raising t-shirts.

Two Dollar Radio is also seeking a clothing label that might be interested in participating with the contest, and releasing the winning design in their seasonal line. For more information, interested parties should contact brian.
