Fourth is King

"They’re made for me, my family and friends, and if you dig it then they’re made for you too... made for us."

That’s what Fourth is King founder J. byrnes, says about his new line of creative, quality t-shirts: (from left to right) brainstorm, Peace out and one if by land, two if by sea.

Byrnes is an artist, graphic designer and principal of creative boutique adapt-studio, inc. instead of doing more projects for clients, this time he focused on creating something for himself.

It’s an opportunity for byrnes to take some of the ideas in his head and make them come to life. his new company’s name comes from combining the fact that byrnes is a fourth, James w. byrnes iV...and a line from a children’s rhyme that starts, “first is the worst, second is the best.”

Fourth is King promises to make comfortable t-shirts with special attention to the design details.

The company creates limited edition products that are simple, playful and classic. “the people who buy Fourth is King enjoy discovering and buying unique things (clothing, music, art) that not everyone else has.

They like it when someone stops them on the street to ask ‘where did you get that?’”
