The idea behind “Long” was simple – super length T-shirts but with a skinny fit.

“We first started selling our T-shirts on clothing markets around North and East London. Initially all we wanted was a small platform to show our range, we just wanted to get people wearing ‘Long‘.

The T-shirts sold and sold and we just kept at it. There would be nights where we’d still be hand screening in our print studio at 3-am just to have more to sell the next day.

After a small period of working the markets our brand was taken on by a few independent shops, and we decided to set up the web-store for all those people outside London.

On February 08th 2009 we made our official launch at the London ‘Margin’ tradeshow, the positive press attention was amazing and we were really excited to pick up some new UK stockists.

It definitely still feels just like the start for us. We want to do long hooded tops, long (buttoned) shirts, Long jackets, Long everything! We’re even talking about creating a “super-long range”, we just want to see how far we can take it.
